Principles by Ray Dalio

Ray Dalio’s #1 New York Times bestseller, Principles: Life & Work, which has sold more than 2 million copies worldwide is about “Life Principles” and “Work Principles.”

This book made me reassess both my personal and professional life paths. It not only had good answers to my questions but also made me ask myself significant questions both about how i manage my company and my personal life. I even applied a lot of his frameworks at ATL Group successfully.

Platform by Cynthia Johnson

In the modern world, influence is everything and personal branding equals influence. Platform is the why-to, how-to handbook by top expert Cynthia Johnson for everyone who wants to develop and manage a personal brand. In Platform, Johnson explains the process of going from unknown to influencer by achieving personal proof, social proof, recognition, and association. Johnson herself went from an on-staff social media manager to social media influencer, entrepreneur, and marketing thought-leader in just three years using her process of accelerated brand development, continuous brand management, and strategic growth.

Cynthias book was not one of my best reads, however it served as the right trigger to explain importance of personal branding and initiate quite a few actions in this matter

The book that shows how to get the job done and deliver results . . . whether you’re running an entire company or in your first management job.

Simple feedback, quick read and easy. Highly advised to those who have recently moved up to managerial roles.

Renowned author, speaker, researcher, and chiropractor Dr. Joe Dispenza combines the fields of quantum physics, neuroscience, brain chemistry. A new science is emerging that empowers all human beings to create the reality they choose.

Neuroscience, self redefinition and personality assessments are hot topics in this book, some parts of the book were astonishing, in sense of making you realize what parts of your identity and personality affect your state of mind/being in negative ways.

Zero to one by Peter Thiel

The great secret of our time is that there are still uncharted frontiers to explore and new inventions to create. In Zero to One, legendary entrepreneur and investor Peter Thiel shows how we can find singular ways to create those new things.

Peter thiels backstory speaks for itself everyone in tech industry should give this book a chance.

Analysis for financial management by Robert C. Higgins

This book is suitable for non-financial managers and business students interested in the practice of financial management, this title presents standard techniques and modern developments in a practical and intuitive manner. It emphasises on the managerial applications of financial analysis.

This book was handed out to me during my studies in California. It covers all the basics of finance, very refreshing.

7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey

Stephen R. Covey presents a holistic, integrated, principle-centered approach for solving personal and professional problems. With penetrating insights and pointed anecdotes, Covey reveals a step-by-step pathway for living with fairness, integrity, service, and human dignity–principles that give us the security to adapt to change and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates.

Years of research by the author led to finding of key attributes shared by geniuses we love and admire. Favorite part of the book is where author explains circle of concern vs circle of influence. An approach i use on daily basis.
